Easy run after yesterday's double. Very happy with yesterday's result in San Jose. Beat my Pleasanton Double time on, what I felt, was a more challenging course (with a hill we got to do three times!).

Bank of Sierra 5k race in Visalia (which was actually more like 3.25 miles). It's a well-organized, fun event, but today's smoggy air made it very difficult for some.

Worked on rhythmic breathing, inhaled with left-right-left steps, exhaled with right-left-right. Accentuated inhalations and exhalations for first 5 miles to get a feel for it. Breathed naturally for the last 2.
